ifp-line-libifp software package provides command line tool to access iRiver iFP audio players, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ifp-line-libifp
ifp-line-libifp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ifp-line-libifp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ifp-line-libifp *
You will get with ifp-line-libifp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
